An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Quintan in the 9th minute of play forced Hit & Run FC's goalkeeper Cosme Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Cuarto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Lico went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Fidel Lico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in US Lecce's zone, Ruperto Isusko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Cuarto came out of the goal and Ruperto Isusko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. US Lecce's Leonides Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Lico in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Ruperto Isusko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Leonides Cuarto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruperto Isusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Fidel Lico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Cuarto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, US Lecce's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Lico came free, but Leonides Cuarto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hit & Run FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Isusko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruperto Isusko made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in US Lecce's zone, Fidel Lico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Cuarto came out of the goal and Fidel Lico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Hit & Run FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Siro Brun hit a great ball. Israel Berasko kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Ruperto Isusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Gogo Jon managed to get in a good position for a shot. US Lecce's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Jon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Arotza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Pastor Ortzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute of the match Everardo Jago sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonides Cuarto skillfully saved the ball. Fidel Lico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Cuarto having to make a save. US Lecce's Leonides Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Isusko in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Benito Quintan managed to get in a good position for a shot. US Lecce's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Quintan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Arotza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hit & Run FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
