Isidoro Honesto kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Victorio Tulio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Maju in the 8th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Totoras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Peyo to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo's Justo Maju nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorio Tulio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Norberto Admon hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes Cristian Lekubegi rounded San Lorenzo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. When Emiliano Balesio came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Totoras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Balesio couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justo Maju stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Aureliano Oidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Izotz came out of the goal and Aureliano Oidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Lekubegi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Izotz having to interfere. Justo Majus short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Victorio Tulio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Justo Maju could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Victorio Tulio made a huge save. Claudio Izotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Emiliano Balesio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Claudio Izotz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Norberto Admon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Victorio Tulio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Lekubegi in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Izotz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 86 minutes, Norberto Admon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Lorenzo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Admon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorio Tulio made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Justo Maju sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute of the match Jonatan Macerio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudio Izotz skillfully saved the ball. When Cristian Lekubegi came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Totoras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Lekubegi couldn't finish the play. After 97 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Garci. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
