The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iker Tonete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Horacio Hanot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnulfo Tximitx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Rubio in the 5th minute of play. Norberto Barbosa hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Donato Tino shot from long distance in the 11th minute, but Horacio Hanot was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Arnulfo Tximitx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Chorrillos FC booed when Real Cañuelas Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Argi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inocencio Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Tximitx having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Andres Quilino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Andres Quilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Deunoro's late challenge caught a Real Cañuelas Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorio Deunoro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Gregorio Deunoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Iker Tonete could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Horacio Hanot however easily saved by the left post. Horacio Hanot made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Iker Tonete sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Inocencio Rubio sped through Real Cañuelas Futbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnulfo Tximitx. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Quilino was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Real Cañuelas Futbol Club's Andres Quilino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horacio Hanot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andres Quilino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Hanot having to interfere. Norberto Barbosa hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Real Cañuelas Futbol Club's Dionisio Lobo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chorrillos FC. Chorrillos FC's Horacio Hanot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Quilino in the 69th minute of play. Iker Tonete blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horacio Hanot having to make a save. Andres Quilino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Hanot having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Iker Tonete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Andres Quilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Real Cañuelas Futbol Club's Iker Tonete in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chorrillos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Norberto Barbosa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Real Cañuelas Futbol Club were awarded a corner. Dionisio Lobo went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Tonete in the 86th minute of play forced Chorrillos FC's goalkeeper Horacio Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Iker Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Andres Quilino came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Real Cañuelas Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Quilino couldn't finish the play. The Chorrillos FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Real Cañuelas Futbol Club from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
