After a rather tough play, Chorrillos FC's Gregorio Deunoro got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Hormiguero FC's Anibal Francis got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aureliano Pasqual who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Horacio Hanot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Horacio Hanot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anibal Francis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. Aureliano Pasqual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Hanot having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anibal Francis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 75th match minute, Hormiguero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Gaspard to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Inocencio Rubio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Anibal Francis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horacio Hanot. Chorrillos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anibal Francis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Horacio Hanot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Pasqual's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hormiguero FC had played much better football throughout.
