La Banda del Ate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Gervaso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, La Banda del Ate's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Cordarrel came free, but Osvaldo Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvio Eli hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Zeledon Vito scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Godoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. La Banda del Ate's Ramon Gervaso got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Aguilera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Txema in the 32nd minute. Fabricio Marcones kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When La Banda del Ate's Ramon Gervaso in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. La Banda del Ate's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as La Banda del Ate's Ramon Gervaso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leopoldo Aguilera. That made the score 1-1 after 42 minutes of play. Ramon Gervaso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramon Gervaso to make the kick off. Ramon Gervaso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Constantino Cordarrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Felipe Txema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. Tornado Saien F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Banda del Ate the free kick. Constantino Cordarrel charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantino Cordarrel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Constantino Cordarrel hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Gervaso in the 92nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Jordy during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tornado Saien F.C's Mateo Jordy got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Ramon Gervaso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Tornado Saien F.C players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented La Banda del Ate from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
