After 16 played minutes Achuppallas got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Bermund. 19 minutes into the game, Victorio Calvino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Achuppallas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres de Cba the free kick. After 19 played minutes Achuppallas got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Calvino. Arnaldo Chale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Dario Beila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Salbatore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodrigo Nafría. Achuppallas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cleto Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Nafría having to interfere. Isidro Mundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofilo Seme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Calvino in the 41st minute of the match. After the first half Achuppallas were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidro Mundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Talleres de Cba's Teofilo Seme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Mundo in the 52nd minute of play. Rodrigo Nafría made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Mark in the 54th minute of play. In the 55thth minute of the game Delmiro Gaskon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Achuppallas's Rodrigo Nafría was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidro Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Teofilo Seme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achuppallas's Rodrigo Nafría played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Gaskon in the 77th minute of play. Arnaldo Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Nafría having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Mark in the 83rd minute of play forced Achuppallas's goalkeeper Rodrigo Nafría to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes Talleres de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Roano. Ubaldo Gomez hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Victorio Calvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Seme having to interfere. The Talleres de Cba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Achuppallas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
