Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) ROJOFUGAZ's Eloy Chap started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in ROJOFUGAZ's zone, Genaro Medardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Herensuge came out of the goal and Genaro Medardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Genaro Medardo came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Epuyén AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Medardo couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Manuelo during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ROJOFUGAZ getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Dario Manuelo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Genaro Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Epuyén AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Medardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Herensuge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ROJOFUGAZ's Hector Herensuge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Maju in the 10th minute of play. With his leg Hector Herensuge managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Epuyén AFC's Pablo Maju fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Norberto Artaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Olentzaro having to interfere. Gonzalo Basajaun charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonzalo Basajaun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Norberto Artaldo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gonzalo Olentzaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROJOFUGAZ. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Epuyén AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Chap came free, but Gonzalo Olentzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genaro Medardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Hector Herensuge made a huge save. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Pablo Maju sped through ROJOFUGAZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hector Herensuge. Hector Herensuge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Maju's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Maju to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Eloy Chap got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hector Herensuge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Maju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Maju in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Herensuge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Genaro Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Maju in the 78th minute of play forced ROJOFUGAZ's goalkeeper Hector Herensuge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Hector Herensuge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the ROJOFUGAZ defense, Pablo Maju kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Herensuge. The ROJOFUGAZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Herensuge should have stopped the shot. Epuyén AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
