Bernardo Onbera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Rojelio in the 37th minute of the match. Ariel Rojelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Onbera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Rojelio in the 41st minute of play. After 42 played minutes Defe Dragon! got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Geofredo. Eleuterio Gervaso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Onbera. Defe Dragon!'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leonel Asur struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Fabian Mazuste didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defe Dragon!. The Las Pelotas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Defe Dragon! were winning 0-1.

Fabian Mazuste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Asur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Las Pelotas's goalkeeper Fabian Mazuste, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 58 played minutes Las Pelotas got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Qwinton. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Qwinton in the 61st minute of play forced Defe Dragon!'s goalkeeper Bernardo Onbera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes Defe Dragon! got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Asur. After a rather tough play, Defe Dragon!'s Leonel Asur got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Eleuterio Gervaso fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Las Pelotas's protests and gave Eleuterio Gervaso a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 73 minutes, Prudencio Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Las Pelotas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Qwinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ariel Rojelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las Pelotas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Rojelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Onbera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Leonel Asur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Qwinton in the 85th minute of play forced Defe Dragon!'s goalkeeper Bernardo Onbera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Defe Dragon!'s zone, Prudencio Qwinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Onbera came out of the goal and Prudencio Qwinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ariel Rojelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Defe Dragon! supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Defe Dragon! would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
