An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Atarratze in the 82nd minute of play forced Las Pelotas's goalkeeper Fabian Mazuste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Colas's late challenge caught a Las Pelotas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
