Macia's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Medero came free, but Aquiles Illan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Lope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Sengrat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Casimiro Peio came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Atl. Macia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Peio couldn't finish the play. After having played for 47 minutes, Casimiro Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atl. Macia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Peio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Resto couldn't finish the play. Jaime Fidensio charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Fidensio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chacras's Jaime Fidensio got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
