Delmiro Ordono scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesar Quinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cesar Quinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Quintin went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gustavo Juvenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alejandro Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Gombal charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Gombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Cascarísima got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Gombal. After 23 minutes, Basilio Elodio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cascarísima and the Monteverde players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Basilio Elodio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Marcos Fonda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejandro Loco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Celso Telo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alejandro Loco, 1-2. Cesar Quinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Bixintxo in the 33rd minute of play. After 46 minutes of play, Cascarísima's Clemente Bixintxo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesar Quinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Sein stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes, Monteverde's Feliciano Lartaun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alejandro Loco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monteverde reached it. If Inocencio Policarpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Maureo lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 62nd minute, one of Monteverde:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Monteverde. Celso Telo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Loco having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Sein in the 70th minute of play forced Cascarísima's goalkeeper Alejandro Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monteverde's Jeronimo Sein got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jeronimo Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alejandro Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Telo in the 82nd minute of play. If Jeronimo Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Quinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Gombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Cesar Quinto made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Clemente Bixintxo sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cascarísima eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
