The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Santo Seber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Noe having to interfere. Carmelo Ferrer did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Zacarias Ekialde 6 minutes into the match. Zacarias Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Ferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Timoteo Noe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Goiz in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Goiz in the 14th minute of play forced Papagallos's goalkeeper Timoteo Noe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timoteo Noe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Seber in the 22nd minute of play. If Lucio Goiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Timoteo Noe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Papagallos's goalkeeper Timoteo Noe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Faro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Maximino Orzaize scored to the left of an out of position Zacarias Ekialde, making the score, 2-1. A collision led to Papagallos getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Carmelo Ferrer hit a great ball. Claudio Dabi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Timoteo Noe. Papagallos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Timoteo Noe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santo Seber went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th match minute, Faro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Eguerdi to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Ferrer was the one to do the kick off. Zacarias Ekialde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmelo Ferrer went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Carmelo Ferrer scored 4-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Ekialde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Goiz got free with Timoteo Noe in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zacarias Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Ferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Maximino Orzaize fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Ekialde having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Ferrer in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Ekialde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zacarias Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Orzaize in the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Maximino Orzaize managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papagallos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Orzaize was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacarias Ekialde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Faro's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Ferrer came free, but Zacarias Ekialde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Papagallos getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Maximiliano Txerran hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Ivan Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Papagallos fully deserved thier win.
