Pastor Indar kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Freddy Cebrian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. In the 38th minute, Papagallos's Carmelo Ferrer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Taurino. Joaquin Taurino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Joaquin Taurino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Ferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carmelo Ferrer to make the kick off. The supporters of Papagallos booed when Club atlético monte castr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Taurino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pastor Indar fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club atlético monte castr's protests and gave Pastor Indar a yellow card for diving instead. 82 minutes into the match, Maximino Orzaize had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Taurino. Club atlético monte castr's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximino Orzaize was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Candido Segio kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Joaquin Taurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Orzaize in the 87th minute of play. Carmelo Ferrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Taurino having to interfere. Maximino Orzaize scored 3-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Taurino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carmelo Ferrer might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Taurino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Ferrer ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Papagallos had played much better football throughout.
