The supporters of Monteverde booed when Pingus Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Silvanito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 minutes, Inocencio Policarpio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monteverde and the Pingus Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Monteverde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Policarpio to maneuver through the defense. Cesar Quinto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Clemente Elixio. Pingus Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
