Spectators: 7095 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 15) After a defensive mix-up in Parque Chacabuco's zone, Casimiro Ramond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Qwinton came out of the goal and Casimiro Ramond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Luzaide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Romulo Maurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Maurin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Cebrian, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 15th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Soin to maneuver through the defense. When Parque Chacabuco's Ciro Luzaide in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independiente's goalie prevented a goal. Parque Chacabuco's Hugo Gartzi got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agustin Cebrian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Ciro Luzaide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 minutes of play, Parque Chacabuco's Agustin Cebrian made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romulo Maurin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Casimiro Ramond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Parque Chacabuco's Timoteo Garcia got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After the first half Parque Chacabuco were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Arturo Blai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Qwinton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Gartzi during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Hugo Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the match Israel Ederono shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Qwinton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Independiente's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Israel Ederono in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Albano Salvino got a free kick in the 65th minute. Agustin Cebrian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Ciro Luzaide notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Independiente's Romulo Maurin. Romulo Maurin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 76 played minutes Parque Chacabuco got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Gartzi. 77 minutes into the match, Independiente's Casimiro Ramond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Qwinton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Parque Chacabuco's Agustin Cebrian dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. If Agustin Cebrian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ciro Luzaide came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Parque Chacabuco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Luzaide couldn't finish the play. Ciro Luzaide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romulo Maurin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Gartzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Parque Chacabuco's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
