Spectators: 7076 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 15) Orlando Soin charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Soin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Soin. After some careless play in the Independiente defense, Lorenzo Che kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Maurin. The Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Maurin should have stopped the shot. Guaberto Pacorro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casimiro Ramond in the 9th minute. When Armando Teodor came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Fundido a Negro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Teodor couldn't finish the play. Guaberto Pacorro was a little too slow when Albano Salvino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Independiente's Arturo Blai in the 25th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Guaberto Pacorro was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Fundido a Negro through an amazing save. In the 29th of the match, Arturo Blai tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Guaberto Pacorro got in the way and made a wonderful save. Genaro Jatsu charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genaro Jatsu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Fundido a Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Jatsu to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Arturo Blai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Teodor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Maurin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Albano Salvino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fundido a Negro the free kick. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Albano Salvino hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Blai made a kick off. Armando Teodor hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Casimiro Ramond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guaberto Pacorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Blai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lorenzo Che had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Che received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Romulo Maurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Blai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Pacorro having to interfere. Armando Teodor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Romulo Maurin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Romulo Maurin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Che, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Che had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romulo Maurin. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Che was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After having played for 93 minutes, Lorenzo Che managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fundido a Negro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Che was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Arturo Blai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Blai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
