After a rather tough play, Ramallo's Octavio Bastia got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 24th minute Pedro Alvarez suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 25th minute, Orlando Rumaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Braulio Stanislao notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Instituto's Baltasar Bernaldo. Baltasar Bernaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antonio Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ruperto Aznaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, one of Instituto:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 47th minute, Hilario Ler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hilario Ler was the one to do the kick off. Antonio Quintyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Aznaro having to interfere. Ruperto Aznaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Braulio Stanislao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Baltasar Bernaldo made a huge save. Braulio Stanislao struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Baltasar Bernaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramallo. Instituto's Baltasar Bernaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Instituto from getting a goal against them. Baltasar Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Ler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braulio Stanislao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Bernaldo having to interfere. If Hilario Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Instituto fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ramallo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
