Habana Comunicaciones Clú's Braulio Pitin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, GF Cachengue's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Garaile came free, but Luisito Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Pitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes Habana Comunicaciones Clú got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Fresco. Leandro Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Braulio Pitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes GF Cachengue got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Mambru. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Mambru in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braulio Pitin saved Habana Comunicaciones Clú from getting behind. Habana Comunicaciones Clú's Braulio Pitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Lucado in the 38th minute of play. Braulio Pitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Mambru was the one to do the kick off. Luisito Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Lopez in the 54th minute of play. Leandro Mambru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Pitin having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Donato Cloyo took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Braulio Pitin to make any attempt to save it. When GF Cachengue's Leandro Mambru in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Habana Comunicaciones Clú's goalie prevented a goal. Leandro Mambru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braulio Pitin having to make a save. 80 minutes into the match, Habana Comunicaciones Clú's German Lopez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luisito Matxin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Habana Comunicaciones Clú's zone, Adolfo Onofre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Pitin came out of the goal and Adolfo Onofre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute of the match Eustaquio Ramos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisito Matxin skillfully saved the ball. Braulio Pitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After some careless play in the Habana Comunicaciones Clú defense, Leandro Mambru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Braulio Pitin. The Habana Comunicaciones Clú fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Pitin should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Habana Comunicaciones Clú's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Mambru came free, but Braulio Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Ado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisito Matxin. GF Cachengue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifacio Ado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 96th minute Leandro Mambru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Pitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GF Cachengue's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
