Higinio Quilo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldo Mateus in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Furman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Eleder was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Jeri FC's Higinio Quilo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Jeri FC from getting a goal against them. When Gilberto Garci fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jeri FC's protests and gave Gilberto Garci a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Jeri FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Feltón:s goal. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Feltón. Jorge Joachim stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Higinio Quilo. 1-0. Feltón's Victor Idacio got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Mateus scored 2-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Higinio Quilo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Furman to make the kick off. Higinio Quilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Idacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Mateus in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Quilo saved Jeri FC from getting behind. If Victor Idacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Emanuel Egoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Furman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Roque Eleder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Milian got free with Roque Eleder in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 68 minutes, Victor Idacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feltón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Idacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Feltón's Roque Eleder got control of the ball when Bruno Milian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeri FC's Teodoro Furman got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roque Eleder made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Celso Burutzagi sent off a good shot on target. When Osvaldo Mateus came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Feltón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Mateus couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Bruno Milian fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Feltón's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
