The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Venancio Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When Modesto Tadzio came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Cronopio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Tadzio couldn't finish the play. After 10 minutes, Denis Manex mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Lalala and the Cronopio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Apolo Ramirez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Eguen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Sportivo Lalala's Damian Eguen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Lalala from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Apolo Ramirez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Eguen was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Damian Eguen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Ramirez in the 25th minute. Baldomero Savier scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Eguen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Santo Nahia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damian Eguen made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Apolo Ramirez sent off a good shot on target. Baldomero Savier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Baldomero Savier came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Cronopio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Savier couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Sportivo Lalala's goalkeeper Damian Eguen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomero Savier.

German Llorienzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Savier scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Eguen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apolo Ramirez in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Eguen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Lalala's zone, German Llorienzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Eguen came out of the goal and German Llorienzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apolo Ramirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute Baldomero Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, Cronopio's Apolo Ramirez made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Eguen was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Nahia in the 76th minute of play forced Cronopio's goalkeeper Anselmo Petrigai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sportivo Lalala getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Teofilo Panpili hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Baldomero Savier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Eguen. Sportivo Lalala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomero Savier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When Apolo Ramirez came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Cronopio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Ramirez couldn't finish the play. Damian Eguen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Savier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. German Llorienzo struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Damian Eguen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cronopio. Cronopio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
