But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Sanson couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, RojodeCopas's goalkeeper Felipe Pacorro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geronimo Nabar. When Eduardo Bonifaco came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the RojodeCopas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Bonifaco couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Celipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Felipe Pacorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernan Maureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelino Haritz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game, Angelino Haritz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benicio Cordaryal having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Conrado Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelino Haritz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benicio Cordaryal having to make a save. Benicio Cordaryal stood somewhat misplaced when Angelino Haritz came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 65 minute. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Benicio Cordaryal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 78 minutes into the match, LidiaPalma y Piratas's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Bonifaco came free, but Benicio Cordaryal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Angelino Haritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Cordaryal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adolfo Celipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, LidiaPalma y Piratas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Angelino Haritz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Felipe Pacorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Nabar in the 98th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
