Filomeno Mancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jacinto Ekaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Sportivo Sta Catalina's Filomeno Mancio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Ekaitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sportivo Sta Catalina's Fulgencio Venceslao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Burni in the 24th minute of play. Jacinto Ekaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Mancio in the 27th minute of the match. Gerardo Burni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Burni in the 34th minute of play forced Sportivo Sta Catalina's goalkeeper Fulgencio Venceslao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrizalito AFC's goalkeeper Jacinto Ekaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Carrizalito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Quexal came free, but Jacinto Ekaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Oscar Caitano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Sta Catalina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Caitano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Ekaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Quexal in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Burni to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ariel Quexal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Sta Catalina's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Quexal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Ekaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filomeno Mancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Ekaitz having to interfere. When Filomeno Mancio came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Sportivo Sta Catalina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Mancio couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Quexal in the 60th minute of play forced Carrizalito AFC's goalkeeper Jacinto Ekaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Mancio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Misael kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Ariel Quexal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Carrizalito AFC's zone, Ariel Quexal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Ekaitz came out of the goal and Ariel Quexal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Benigno Porfirio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Venceslao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Lohitzun, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Fulgencio Venceslao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Burni in the 87th minute of the match. Filomeno Mancio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 91st playminute. Sportivo Sta Catalina's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
