Abelardo Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to C.A.PITIN getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Teodosio Austin hit a great ball. Abelardo Ofelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Gimnasia y Esgrima.Lp's Gaspar Eduino got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Santos Joanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Teofilio kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Ciriaco Tallia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucio Costante struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Diego Mogel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.PITIN. Ciriaco Tallia scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Mogel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucio Costante to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Tallia got free with Diego Mogel in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gimnasia y Esgrima.Lp's goalkeeper Diego Mogel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Lugo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Paulino Beltza charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulino Beltza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C.A.PITIN booed when Gimnasia y Esgrima.Lp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Beltza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucio Costante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Diego Mogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Diego Mogel managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when C.A.PITIN's Ciriaco Tallia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Ciriaco Tallia managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.PITIN's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Tallia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Mogel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A.PITIN's Ciriaco Tallia got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A.PITIN's Hugo Hanni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Joanes in the 96th minute of play.
