Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benigno Ugaitz started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Brea got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Frisco. Froilan Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Lino Ibañez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Ninalquín's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Chinto came free, but Lino Ibañez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Baladi's late challenge caught a Brea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliano Baladi helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Brea got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Frisco. If Benedicto Santxol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Elpidio Quexal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edelmiro Chinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Benedicto Santxol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Padro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Benigno Ugaitz rounded Brea's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Edelmiro Chinto took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Ibañez. Lino Ibañez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Brea's Angelino Padro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Ugaitz in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Ninalquín's Benigno Ugaitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelino Padro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 41st minute, Ninalquín's Benigno Ugaitz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Lino Ibañez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Elequemedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edelmiro Chinto to make the kick off. Ninalquín's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edelmiro Chinto 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. Brea's Froilan Elequemedo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lino Ibañez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Chinto in the 65th minute of play. If Edelmiro Chinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Edelmiro Chinto, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 70 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lino Ibañez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Benigno Ugaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Edelmiro Chinto took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Lino Ibañez to make any attempt to save it. Edelmiro Chinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lino Ibañez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Abechuco's late challenge caught a Brea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Abechuco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, one of Ninalquín:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ninalquín. The goalkeeper, Lino Ibañez, was totally fooled by Brea's Domingo Urtats, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jacinto Frisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lino Ibañez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Brea could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ninalquín throughout the match.
