Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Astor Menendo took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Astor Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Cebrian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Rudolph in the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, John Rudolph managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Galaxy's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Rudolph was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Rio Galaxy booed when Caipirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Caipirinha got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Leizarraga. Rodolfo Cebrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Menendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes of play, Rio Galaxy's Jacobo Marcones made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Cebrian was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute Antonio Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Fanuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Cebrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Marcones in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Astor Menendo in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Cebrian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 minutes, Bonifacio Leizarraga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caipirinha and the Rio Galaxy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Caipirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Leizarraga to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Astor Menendo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rodolfo Cebrian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Astor Menendo scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Cebrian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salvador Fanuco was a little too slow when Antonio Montrel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-3. Rodolfo Cebrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Menendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Rio Galaxy getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Arnaldo Leheren hit a great ball. Salvador Fanuco made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Antonio Montrel sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uriel Kauldi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Uriel Kauldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Fanuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Marcones scored 1-5 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Cebrian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Jacobo Marcones reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodolfo Cebrian. The goal made the score 1-6. Rodolfo Cebrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Menendo in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute Astor Menendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Cebrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Cebrian didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-7. The audience was convinced that Astor Menendo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Cebrian was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Leheren got free with Rodolfo Cebrian in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodolfo Cebrian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacobo Marcones went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-9 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the game, Astor Menendo lined in a short shot 1-10 behind a frustrated Rodolfo Cebrian. Justino Ourente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Cebrian made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Antonio Montrel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caipirinha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-10. 96 minutes into the match, Astor Menendo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolfo Cebrian. Caipirinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Menendo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-11.
