A collision led to Morales getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cirilo Rexino hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match Generoso Bastiaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilfredo Bastia skillfully saved the ball. Placido Arnau took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Mattin. Rodolfo Mattin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Los Pibes Del Ameghino's Rodolfo Mattin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Arnau in the 14th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Los Pibes Del Ameghino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Bastiaro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Domiku in the 25th minute of play forced Morales's goalkeeper Wilfredo Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Placido Arnau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Mattin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Arnau in the 32nd minute of play forced Los Pibes Del Ameghino's goalkeeper Rodolfo Mattin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes of play, Morales's Placido Arnau made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Mattin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Placido Ruy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rodolfo Mattin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Arnau in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Mattin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rodolfo Mattin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Los Pibes Del Ameghino's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Arnau came free, but Rodolfo Mattin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Etor kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Pibes Del Ameghino's goalkeeper Rodolfo Mattin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Los Pibes Del Ameghino booed when Morales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Paolo Hernandez fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Pibes Del Ameghino's protests and gave Paolo Hernandez a yellow card for diving instead. Paolo Hernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Placido Arnau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Mattin having to interfere. Morales's Placido Arnau got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Los Pibes Del Ameghino's Rodolfo Mattin got control of the ball when Placido Ruy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Placido Arnau struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Rodolfo Mattin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morales. Elpidio Gora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Wilfredo Bastia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Arnau in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Mattin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Placido Ruy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Los Pibes Del Ameghino getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Leonel Isaio hit a great ball. The Los Pibes Del Ameghino fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Morales were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
