In the 3rd match minute, Desamparados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Ospin to maneuver through the defense. Desamparados's Mario Ospin got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 8 played minutes Finito LTA got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Laurentzi. A collision led to Desamparados getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gavino Janpier hit a great ball. Benjamin Llorienzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvano Bero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Llorienzo in the 27th minute of the match. Salvador Endira charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Endira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Eulalio Pirro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Urtsin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Desamparados's zone, Eulalio Pirro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Bero came out of the goal and Eulalio Pirro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th match minute, Desamparados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Endira to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 44 minutes, Benjamin Llorienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Finito LTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Llorienzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Finito LTA booed when Desamparados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eulalio Pirro to strike the kick off in the second half. Desamparados's Silvano Bero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Pirro in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Gavino Janpier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desamparados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Janpier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Desamparados's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Janpier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Euloxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isaias Savion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Abelardo Euloxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Desamparados got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Abajas. Mario Ospin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Euloxu having to interfere. If Gavino Janpier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nemesio Garci took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abelardo Euloxu. Finito LTA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Finito LTA defense, Isaias Savion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Euloxu. The Finito LTA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Euloxu should have stopped the shot.
