Desamparados's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Janpier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Gartzea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lázaro Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Janpier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Gartzea having to interfere. After 11th play minutes Isaias Savion shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Diego Gartzea and just under the crossbar into goal. Diego Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Savion, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A collision led to c.a caneo getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Pedro Vela hit a great ball. Isaias Savion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Gartzea having to interfere. If Laureano Guifre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Louis's late challenge caught a c.a caneo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Louis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Justo Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desamparados's Silvano Bero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Desamparados from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, c.a caneo's Laureano Guifre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Bero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gavino Janpier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Gartzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Isaias Savions short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Diego Gartzea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Janpier in the 55th minute of play forced c.a caneo's goalkeeper Diego Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Janpier, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Desamparados's zone, Aurelio Esquipula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Bero came out of the goal and Aurelio Esquipula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Esquipula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the game, c.a caneo's Laureano Guifre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvano Bero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Isaias Savion came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Desamparados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Savion couldn't finish the play. Isaias Savion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvano Bero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Esquipula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 played minutes Desamparados got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Abajas. Isaias Savion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, c.a caneo's Evelio George got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Desamparados. Nemesio Garci stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Diego Gartzea. 1-2. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Esquipula's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvano Bero was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Desamparados had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
