The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Evaristo Otoniel fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Correa AFC's protests and gave Evaristo Otoniel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Correa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Otoniel to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Laureano Guifre managed to get in a good position for a shot. c.a caneo's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Guifre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Caradaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Laureano Guifre could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Amado Caradaro however easily saved by the left post. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind c.a caneo's goalkeeper Diego Gartzea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 16 played minutes Correa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Ieltxu. After 17 played minutes c.a caneo got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Maxin. In the 19th minute Jeremias Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Gartzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Evaristo Otoniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, c.a caneo's Aurelio Esquipula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Caradaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Correa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Esquipula came free, but Amado Caradaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Gartzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Kaiet in the 39th minute of the match. When Laureano Guifre came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the c.a caneo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Guifre couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Aurelio Esquipula notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Correa AFC's Amado Caradaro. Amado Caradaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amado Caradaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Guifre in the 90th minute of play. Amado Caradaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Esquipula in the 93rd minute of the match. Aurelio Esquipula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
