Rodrigo Kaxen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 39th minute, Segundo Natanael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Prospero Innocenzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Prospero Innocenzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Kaxen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Cristian Lauro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Kaxen. Tottenham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Lauro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prospero Innocenzio made a kick off. When Flavio Galindo fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tottenham's protests and gave Flavio Galindo a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Tottenham got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Galindo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Innocenzio in the 56th minute of play forced Tottenham's goalkeeper Rodrigo Kaxen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Che took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Segundo Natanael was slow to take the kick. During this time Tottenham's players had a chance to rest. Tottenham's Siro Ederono was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ramon Che in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Prospero Innocenzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rodrigo Kaxen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Kaxen having to interfere. Aaron Hibai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ramon Che tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Argi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tottenham the free kick. Rodolfo Argi kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Tottenham's Segundo Natanael tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Argi hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Aaron Hibai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Che having to interfere. When Jairo Timo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. In the 78th minute, Jairo Timo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 87 minutes, Cristian Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Lauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filiberto Dalmau hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Rodolfo Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Kaxen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Innocenzio in the 96th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Racing Club's corner Artemio Remicio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rodrigo Kaxen quite easily take care of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Racing Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tottenham.
