ARRAYANES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Talleres the free kick. The supporters of C.A.Talleres booed when ARRAYANES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Hanot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, C.A.Talleres's Diego Guerau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bonifacio Araoz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ulises Cordarell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bonifacio Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Guerau took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bonifacio Araoz. Bonifacio Araoz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 24th minute, Teodosio Frascuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bonifacio Araoz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Guerau in the 34th minute. If Abel Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44thth minute of the game Diego Guerau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARRAYANES's Bonifacio Araoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. C.A.Talleres's Diego Guerau got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Guerau to strike the kick off in the second half. Manuel Arnalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Lazcano in the 53rd minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Guerau couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C.A.Talleres had played much better football throughout.
