Galaxy Fc's Abelardo Martxelin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Galaxy Fc from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Teodor in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Martxelin saved Galaxy Fc from getting behind. Vicente Montxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rodrigo Teodor came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Teodor couldn't finish the play. If Rodrigo Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Jorrin scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciriaco Goizeder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Lizbeth in the 40th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Ciriaco Goizeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Telmo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Ciriaco Goizeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Jorrin in the 42nd minute of play.

Abelardo Martxelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Teodor, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Rodrigo Teodor took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Martxelin. Abelardo Martxelin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Vicente Montxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. River Plate's Vicente Montxo got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardino Jorrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Suero during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Suero to maneuver through the defense.
