Oscar Dei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 17 minutes into the match, Club de Barrio's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Lorenz came free, but Ladislao Milian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eustacio Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the talleres re fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Izotz couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Club de Barrio's zone, Eustacio Izotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Milian came out of the goal and Eustacio Izotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pablo Nel fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored talleres re's protests and gave Pablo Nel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Pablo Nel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Sanchez in the 27th minute of play forced talleres re's goalkeeper Oscar Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. talleres re's Oscar Dei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save talleres re from getting a goal against them. talleres re's Rene Lorenz got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 35 minutes, Eustacio Izotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. talleres re's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Izotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Club de Barrio booed when talleres re was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Frutos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Abastas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 74 minutes, Esteve Dunixi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club de Barrio and the talleres re players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eustacio Izotz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. talleres re's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Nestor Abastas succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. When Eustacio Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the talleres re fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Izotz couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute Vinicio Donzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Club de Barrio could leave the field as winners, despite talleres re having more of the ball for most of the match.
