Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Urbano Firman started the match with the kick off. Oscar Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Vedillo in the 4th minute of play forced talleres re's goalkeeper Oscar Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eugenio Otsando fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cienega's protests and gave Eugenio Otsando a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Cienega got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Otsando. A collision led to Cienega getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Israel Vedillo hit a great ball. talleres re's Oscar Dei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save talleres re from getting a goal against them. Baldomero Otsoko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Oscar Dei made a huge save. Feliberto Heriberto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, Cienega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Otsando to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Froilan Bero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oscar Dei. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 21st minute Israel Vedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by talleres re's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Evaristo Vistruario was slow to take the kick. During this time Cienega's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cienega's corner Evaristo Vistruario fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Oscar Dei quite easily take care of the ball. Godofredo Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Firman in the 26th minute of play. Urbano Firman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Ruy having to interfere. Eustacio Izotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rene Lorenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Ruy having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Eustacio Izotz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The talleres re fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Urbano Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Heriberto in the 44th minute of play forced Cienega's goalkeeper Godofredo Ruy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godofredo Ruy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Gurutz in the 45th minute of the match. Israel Vedillo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Oscar Dei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cienega. 47 minutes into the game, Cienega's Israel Vedillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Dei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Israel Vedillo to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, one of talleres re:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for talleres re. After 65 minutes, Baldomero Otsoko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cienega and the talleres re players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Cienega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Otsoko to maneuver through the defense. Robustiano Orain hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th match minute, talleres re was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. Cienega's Godofredo Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Izotz in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Cienega's Godofredo Ruy got control of the ball when Eustacio Izotz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esteban Gurutz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godofredo Ruy having to make a save. Eustacio Izotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Ruy having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cienega's zone, Rene Lorenz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Ruy came out of the goal and Rene Lorenz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the talleres re defense, Israel Vedillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Dei. The talleres re fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Dei should have stopped the shot. talleres re's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cienega had won, even though talleres re had held more of the ball.
