After a rather tough play, Talleres's Alfonso Javiar got a free kick in the 18th minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Severino Oskarbi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Oskarbi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Virila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Guib, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Leon Harri scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Haritzeder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres's zone, Eliseo Fero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Haritzeder came out of the goal and Eliseo Fero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arocena's Christian Virila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Oskarbi in the 41st minute of play. When Gaudencio Berriotxoa fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arocena's protests and gave Gaudencio Berriotxoa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Gaudencio Berriotxoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Oskarbi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Christian Virila made a huge save. Eliseo Fero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Juan Haritzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Oskarbi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Virila having to interfere. The Talleres players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arocena were winning 0-1.

In the 53rd match minute, Arocena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Darien to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute Talleres were awarded a corner. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arocena's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
