With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeronimo Lucila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Eustacio Kaxen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eustaquio Froylan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. jefyl jueves's Aquilino Fernandez suffered a concussion in the 25th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Arnulfo Silvanito charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnulfo Silvanito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stalkers getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Arnulfo Silvanito hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Jorge Lamberto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeronimo Lucila showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Norberto Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Froylan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Nazario hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Eustacio Kaxen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Eustaquio Froylan made a huge save. Jonas Chorche hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Dario Costante received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eustaquio Froylan came out and tried to block the shot, but Dario Costante slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 43rd minute. Eustacio Kaxen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Froylan having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfredo Nazario made a kick off. With a little luck, Stalkers's Jeronimo Lucila got control of the ball when Wilfredo Nazario tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredo Iratzeder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Jeronimo Lucila made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Nazario during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes jefyl jueves got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Nazario. Stalkers's Dario Costante got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Dario Costante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Froylan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Stalkers's Dario Costante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustaquio Froylan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eustacio Kaxen might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustaquio Froylan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustacio Kaxen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute, Wilfredo Nazario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabio Baladi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeronimo Lucila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. If Dario Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Eustacio Kaxen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Froylan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the jefyl jueves defense, Eustacio Kaxen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustaquio Froylan. The jefyl jueves fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustaquio Froylan should have stopped the shot. Stalkers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
