The jefyl jueves fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eustaquio Froylan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Espiridion in the 16th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Aquilino Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Urbes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Urbes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Baladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wilfredo Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Gogo Obeko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Urbes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabio Baladi hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Mariano Argoitz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match Jorge Lamberto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Urbes skillfully saved the ball. Wilfredo Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aristides Espiridion made a kick off. If Wilfredo Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Urbes having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Utracán got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Fernado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Fernandez in the 60th minute of play forced Utracán's goalkeeper Benito Urbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquilino Fernandez in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Urbes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilfredo Nazario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Benito Urbes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Nazarios short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Benito Urbes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Froilan Crispo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Eustaquio Froylan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Crispo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Eustaquio Froylan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Utracán. After 86 minutes, Evaristo Locaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Utracán and the jefyl jueves players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Utracán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Locaio to maneuver through the defense. If Aristides Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The jefyl jueves supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing jefyl jueves would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
