In the 6th minute Agote were awarded a corner. Abel Caton went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Agote's corner Abel Caton fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Samuel Atauri quite easily take care of the ball. If Filiberto Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Eliazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Andres Calvino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Agote's Eustacio Rexino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Andres Calvino came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the RIVER PLATE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Calvino couldn't finish the play. If Rene Gabirel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes, Andres Calvino made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Agote's Eustacio Rexino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rene Gabirel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filiberto Eliazar hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Andres Calvino hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Gabirel in the 36th minute of play forced RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Samuel Atauri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Agote's Rene Gabirel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Atauri. Samuel Atauri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Rene Gabirel struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Samuel Atauri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agote. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Gabirel to make the kick off. Felix Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafin Micael during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Samuel Atauri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Gabirel's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. When Agote's Felix Vidal in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RIVER PLATE's goalie prevented a goal. Agote's Eustacio Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Calvino in the 67th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Agote's goalkeeper Eustacio Rexino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiberto Eliazar. If Felix Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Eustacio Rexino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Eliazar struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Eustacio Rexino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIVER PLATE. The audience was convinced that Felix Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Atauri was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Eustacio Rexino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Calvino in the 97th minute of the match. Andres Calvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Rexino having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
