After a defensive mix-up in Cañon del Atlas's zone, Fabio Baladi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Txaran came out of the goal and Fabio Baladi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Iratzeder in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Txaran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. From close distance Wilfredo Nazario pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 10 minutes into the game. Salvador Chus charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Chus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cañon del Atlas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! A hard shot 16 in the game by Wilfredo Nazario from a close distance when the talented Rosendo Txaran managed to make a qualified save. Cañon del Atlas's players were relieved. Eustaquio Froylan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Bortzaioriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Rosendo Txaran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alfredo Iratzeder fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored jefyl jueves's protests and gave Alfredo Iratzeder a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to jefyl jueves getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Alfredo Iratzeder hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes, Cañon del Atlas's German Eleder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eustaquio Froylan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cañon del Atlas reached it. Eustaquio Froylan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Jordy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wilfredo Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of jefyl jueves booed when Cañon del Atlas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Chus didn't get a good kick on the ball. jefyl jueves's Wilfredo Nazario was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 46th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquilino Fernandez made a kick off. Delmar Aztore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Herminio Jordy came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Cañon del Atlas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Jordy couldn't finish the play. Basilio Bortzaioriz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Aquilino Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Delmar Aztore dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eustaquio Froylan, 2-1. Aquilino Fernandez might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosendo Txaran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 87th minute, German Eleder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 minutes, German Eleder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cañon del Atlas and the jefyl jueves players grew even worse after the yellow card. 91 minutes into the game, one of Cañon del Atlas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave jefyl jueves a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jorge Lamberto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cañon del Atlas's Rosendo Txaran. 3-1. After 97 played minutes, jefyl jueves's Efrain Berdaitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rosendo Txaran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Cañon del Atlas's Rosendo Txaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Iratzeder in the 99th minute of play. jefyl jueves were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
