Eustacio Kaxen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Atauri having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Edgardo Benino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eustacio Kaxen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Samuel Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Stalkers booed when RIVER PLATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Indartsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Kaxen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Atauri having to make a save. If Filiberto Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Filiberto Eliazar made a precise shot to the right of Jeronimo Lucila. Stalkers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jeronimo Lucila was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Filiberto Eliazar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filiberto Eliazar really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Andres Calvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Stalkers got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Benino. RIVER PLATE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Augusto Rioja in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustacio Kaxen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in RIVER PLATE's zone, Eustacio Kaxen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Atauri came out of the goal and Eustacio Kaxen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Atauri came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Stalkers's Eustacio Kaxen. But to his dismay, Eustacio Kaxen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Andres Calvino sped through Stalkers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeronimo Lucila. Eustacio Kaxen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Atauri having to interfere. With his leg Samuel Atauri managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Stalkers's Eustacio Kaxen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jeronimo Lucila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Eliazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After a rather tough play, Stalkers's Ricardo Matei got a free kick in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stalkers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RIVER PLATE.
