The supporters of Agote booed when Cañon del Atlas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Dolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosendo Txaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Vidal in the 7th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Vidal in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Txaran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rene Gabirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Agote's Abel Caton got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Herminio Jordy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Abaunza kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Celso Enekoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agote's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cañon del Atlas the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Jordy got free with Eustacio Rexino in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Aztore in the 43rd minute of play forced Agote's goalkeeper Eustacio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Cañon del Atlas's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Gabirel came free, but Rosendo Txaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Gabirel to strike the kick off in the second half. Eustacio Rexino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herminio Jordy's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Rosendo Txaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Gabirel, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cañon del Atlas's zone, Felix Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Txaran came out of the goal and Felix Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cañon del Atlas booed when Agote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Abaunza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Agote defense, Herminio Jordy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustacio Rexino. The Agote fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustacio Rexino should have stopped the shot. Rosendo Txaran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Vidal in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Raimundo Isadore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agote's Eustacio Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Jordy in the 83rd minute of play.
