Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Utracán's zone, Filiberto Eliazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Urbes came out of the goal and Filiberto Eliazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, RIVER PLATE's Andres Calvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Urbes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Froilan Crispo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Samuel Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Armando Montes from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Samuel Atauri's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 25 minutes into the match, Aristides Espiridion dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Samuel Atauri, 1-0. In the 30th minute Aristides Espiridion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Espiridion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Atauri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Eliazar in the 36th minute of play forced Utracán's goalkeeper Benito Urbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Utracán's Benito Urbes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Eliazar in the 37th minute of play. Andres Calvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Urbes having to interfere. After some careless play in the Utracán defense, Filiberto Eliazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Urbes. The Utracán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Urbes should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

58 minutes into the match, Utracán's goalkeeper Benito Urbes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiberto Eliazar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celestino Micael during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Filiberto Eliazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Urbes having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Fernado during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Utracán getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Raimundo Fernado hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Utracán's goalkeeper Benito Urbes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiberto Eliazar. In the 65th match minute, RIVER PLATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Indartsu to maneuver through the defense. Evaristo Locaio, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Leon Indartsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RIVER PLATE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Utracán the free kick. The supporters of Utracán booed when RIVER PLATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Indartsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Eliazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Urbes having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Atauri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Espiridion in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Felipe Bilintx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristides Espiridion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Atauri having to interfere. Andres Calvino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RIVER PLATE's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
