The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Zachrisson got free with Andres Dolfo in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mitre Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Villafañe AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomás Kemen took the corner. Pastor Errando's late challenge caught a Villafañe AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Errando helped the player get up and apologised. Pastor Errando kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Andres Dolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Zachrisson in the 21st minute. In the 21st minute, Baltasar Lohitzun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With his leg Andres Dolfo managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Mitre Futbol Club's Thomas Zachrisson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Zachrisson in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Dolfo saved Villafañe AFC from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Zachrisson made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Thomas Zachrisson made a precise shot to the right of Andres Dolfo. Villafañe AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Thomas Zachrisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes Mitre Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Errando. Andres Dolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Zachrisson in the 83rd minute of the match.
