With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Montae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Excelxion's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Rocendo came free, but Ermegildo Formerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Excelxion getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Primitivo Celipe hit a great ball. Florentino Bordat kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Ricardo Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Millan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Montae having to interfere. Tomás Rocendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Formerio having to interfere. Ricardo Arlo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Montae. Norberto Montae dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 39th minute, Ricardo Arlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Montae was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Norberto Montae came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Excelxion's Ricardo Arlo. But to his dismay, Ricardo Arlo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 48th minute, Fausto Millan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Ricardo Arlo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Excelxion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Arlo couldn't finish the play. In the 55thth minute of the game Ricardo Arlo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parque Chacabuco F.C.'s Norberto Montae was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Parque Chacabuco F.C.'s goalkeeper Norberto Montae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Millan. With a little luck, Parque Chacabuco F.C.'s Norberto Montae got control of the ball when Fausto Millan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Norberto Montae made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Millan in the 71st minute. Timoteo Lugo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Formerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Ricardo Arlo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Excelxion's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cosme Ellande hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Fausto Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Parque Chacabuco F.C.'s Ramiro Papo got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Excelxion's Ricardo Arlo in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Parque Chacabuco F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Suero during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
