Jesus Eladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Firmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorato Ikatz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Arnoldo Pio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Melchor Urtzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Eladio having to interfere. Honorato Ikatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Pio having to interfere. Jesus Eladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Firmo in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Leoandmat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Shepherd to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Leoandmat's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Firmo came free, but Jesus Eladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Pio made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Honorato Ikatz sent off a good shot on target. The Marionetas Magicas F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Israel Firmo was the one to do the kick off. Leoandmat's Amado Hechter got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Israel Firmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jesus Eladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Honorato Ikatz came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Leoandmat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Ikatz couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Denis Maureo put in a rough tackle. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Leoandmat. Angelino Oidor stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arnoldo Pio. 1-2. Melchor Urtzi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Jesus Eladio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Leoandmat's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Melchor Urtzi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosio Aznar during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
