In the 16th minute Silvano Claris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Laffitte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Odon struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Jorge Laffitte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL INMORTAL DE TURDERA. After 19 played minutes racing clab got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Policarpio. After a defensive mix-up in racing clab's zone, Silvano Claris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Laffitte came out of the goal and Silvano Claris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeledon Odon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Jorge Laffitte made a huge save. Jorge Laffitte made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Zeledon Odon sent off a good shot on target. Armando Eleazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Duardo in the 29th minute of play. Jorge Laffitte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Claris in the 30th minute of the match. If Felix Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Duardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in racing clab's zone, Silvano Claris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Laffitte came out of the goal and Silvano Claris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Laffitte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Odon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of EL INMORTAL DE TURDERA booed when racing clab was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Jakobe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Juan Jobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Duardo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Eleazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Evaristo Tiso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Tiso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Eleazar having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Tiso got free with Armando Eleazar in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zeledon Odon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zeledon Odon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. EL INMORTAL DE TURDERA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
