Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Garré AFC's Eliseo Enekoitz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Vinicio Beturian took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Evelio Jenaro to make any attempt to save it. When Samuel Natal fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garré AFC's protests and gave Samuel Natal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute of the match Francisco Piarres shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvestre Giro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvestre Giro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Benet, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Garré AFC's zone, Ricardo Benet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Giro came out of the goal and Ricardo Benet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Honorio Bizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Quinteros charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Quinteros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benito Quinteros hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Miñones FC's Justino Berasko got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 34th match minute, Garré AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Natal to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Giro came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Miñones FC's Ricardo Benet. But to his dismay, Ricardo Benet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ricardo Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Giro having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Ricardo Benet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Giro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Ricardo Benet made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Quinteros in the 56th minute of play forced Miñones FC's goalkeeper Evelio Jenaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miñones FC's Evelio Jenaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Enekoitz in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Luis Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Jenaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evelio Jenaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Quinteros in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Garré AFC booed when Miñones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Michael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evelio Jenaro came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Garré AFC's Benito Quinteros. But to his dismay, Benito Quinteros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Honorio Bizen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miñones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorio Bizen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Giro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Honorio Bizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evelio Jenaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Enekoitz in the 80th minute of the match. Honorio Bizen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Giro having to interfere. Garré AFC's Silvestre Giro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Garré AFC from getting a goal against them. Honorio Bizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Silvestre Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Giro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Bizen in the 95th minute. Many of Miñones FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Miñones FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Garré AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
