Spectators: 7184 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 100) Eustacio Cisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eustacio Cisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Umea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Cisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Teofilo Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carabelas's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Derwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Leo Bidari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Garcia having to interfere. Eustacio Cisco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silverio Umea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Eustacio Cisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Silverio Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Martin Ieltxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Umea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Carabelas's Leo Bidari sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basilio Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teofilo Derwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Garcia having to interfere. Raimundo Hanni kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Teofilo Derwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Teofilo Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Bidari made a kick off. Martin Ieltxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silverio Umea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Derwin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basilio Garcia was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Raimundo Hanni hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Silverio Umea was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Eustacio Cisco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eustacio Cisco really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Julian Gagriel struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Silverio Umea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salto FC. After 78 played minutes Carabelas got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Hanni. Silverio Umea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Cisco in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Carabelas's goalkeeper Silverio Umea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Ieltxu. Silverio Umea was a little too slow when Eustacio Cisco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-2. 91 minutes into the game, Carabelas's Leo Bidari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basilio Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When Martin Ieltxu came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Salto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Ieltxu couldn't finish the play. The Salto FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
