When Ignacio Toro came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Luanco AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Toro couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Timote's Andres Estebe got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Fernan Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute of the match Arsenio Sergi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Sadurni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Luanco AFC's Ignacio Toro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Sadurni. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. In the 30th minute, Elvio Reyes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Cesar Erruki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Timote's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luanco AFC the free kick. In the 36th minute, Jonatan Abalos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luanco AFC's Orlando Mattin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Alvarez in the 38th minute of play. When Timote's Fernan Alvarez in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Luanco AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 47th minute Fernan Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Mattin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Mattin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Abalos in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernan Alvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Mattin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Fernan Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Reyes succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Luanco AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guillermo Aimar in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Fernan Alvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando Mattin was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 73rd match minute, Luanco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Toro to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Fernan Alvarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Timote's Fernan Alvarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Mattin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Timote's Jonatan Abalos got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Many of Timote's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Timote may have spent more time on the ball, but Luanco AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
