An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Alvarez in the 24th minute of play forced Miñones FC's goalkeeper Evelio Jenaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Miñones FC's goalkeeper Evelio Jenaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Abalos. Francisco Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Sadurni having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Fernan Alvarez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 41 minutes, Adrian Michael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miñones FC and the Timote players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Miñones FC's Adrian Michael got a free kick in the 41st minute. Honorio Bizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Benet was the one to do the kick off. Honorio Bizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clemente Omero kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ricardo Benet was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 60th match minute, Miñones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Perez to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Jenaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Alvarez in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Fernan Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timote's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miñones FC's Evelio Jenaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Abalos in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Justino Berasko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ricardo Sadurni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miñones FC's Evelio Jenaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Abalos in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Miñones FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Justino Berasko hit a great ball. Honorio Bizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Sadurni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Benet went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Edgardo Kepa made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Miñones FC's Cornelio Emesto. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Saul Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miñones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Sadurni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorio Bizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ricardo Sadurni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Benet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Ricardo Sadurni made a huge save.
